This year’s edition of our exclusive top 100 companies’ image corporate ranking is full of surprises. Some classics remained firm in their positions, and new organizations reached our upscale top 15, leaving out traditional former winners. Arcor has reaffirmed once more his long-term leadership, which now seems impossible to be replaced. But something new has appeared in the wanted-second-position: Grupo Techint has moved forward, gaining places among opinion leaders in 2007.

Powered by sales record, car companies were very well placed in the ranking again. Volkswagen reached number 8th, Ford climbed up to the 9th position and Toyota burst upon the list in number 12th, making it to the companies’ top 15 for the very first time. Microsoft represents another remarkable increase, achieving number 10th. High tech organizations have made an important upturn in this year’s ranking.

AmEx and Mastellone were able to maintain their places and Santander Río, the only financial entity in regards top 15 companies, has also improved in comparison to last year: it ended up in number 11th.
